LocalDraft AI is offline-first by design. Your drafts and client details stay on your computer.
What stays on your device
- Every draft you create and every document in your AI Library.
- Your advocate/firm profile and settings.
- Your AI assistant conversations.
- The AI model itself — it runs on your processor, so prompts never go to a server.
There is no cloud database for your work and no telemetry or usage tracking from within the app. You can unplug the internet and keep drafting, chatting and exporting.
The only times the internet is used
- Downloading the app and the AI model (one-time).
- Signing in / activating your subscription, and occasional license checks.
- Optionally, downloading the built-in drafting library.
None of these send your drafts or client data anywhere.
What our website stores
The website (for accounts and payments) stores only what's needed to run your subscription: your email, plan, licence dates and payment records from Razorpay. It never receives the documents you write. For the full legal text, see our Privacy Policy.
Extra protection
You can set a master password in the app to gate access on a shared computer. Your documents also never leave the device, so client confidentiality is preserved by design.
